(China Daily)
Updated: 2009-02-26 07:43 Five northeast China tigers are adapting well to life in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, and are becoming a major attraction for zoo visitors. The zoo became home to the tigers, two males and three females, originally from Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang province, three months ago. Currently, each tiger is given at least five kg of meat a day, and two pairs have begun to mate. (Sanxiang Metropolis Daily) |
