Updated: 2009-03-03 21:53 BEIJING -- Mi Fengjun, former vice chairman of the Jilin Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, has been removed from his post and expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for taking bribes, according to a decision issued Tuesday.
However, the decision didn't reveal in what time period Mi committed the violation or how much money he illegally possessed. "Mi's behaviors have severely violated the discipline of the Party and the government, and some may lead to crimes," said the decision. All property Mi illegally possessed were confiscated. Mi was transferred to the judicial department for further investigation. |
