BEIJING -- A fire broke out in the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing at about 10:30 am Monday. One person was injured and rushed to hospital, said firefighters.

Smoke and blaze were spotted from a dormitory building that accommodates security guards and students who are in the college to pursue further studies.
The fire was under control, they said.
The college was in eastern Beijing's Chaoyang district.
