HONG KONG -- A Hong Kong-Taiwan inter-city forum will be held in Hong Kong on April 15, according to a press statement issued Tuesday by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government.

The forum will involve Hong Kong and Taichung City representatives discussing issues relating to tourism, the economy and trade between the two cities, said the statement.

By organizing forums with cities and counties in Taiwan, the HKSAR government wants to promote exchanges and interaction between the two places at city level to enhance co-operation and friendship, it added.
