HK Chief Executive to attend Boao Forum annual conference

HONG KONG -- Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang will visit Hainan Province on April 17 and 18 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2009, according to the Hong Kong government website on Tuesday.

The theme of the conference is Asia: Managing Beyond Crisis.

The government officials accompanying Tsang at the conference include Director of the Chief Executive's Office Norman Chan, Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Kenneth Mak, Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Chan Kin-ping and Assistant Director (Media) Vic Yau.

Tsang will return to Hong Kong on April 19. During his absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang, will be acting Chief Executive.
