Two students dead after 12-story fall

BEIJING - Two Chinese college students died after falling out the window of a dormitory building in Beijing Tuesday, according to police sources.

The two, a man and a woman, are students of the Communication University of China. The man is an undergraduate and the woman is a postgraduate.

Police provided no further details about the deaths.

A witness, a student who only gave his surname Chen, said he heard the two quarrelling and the woman screaming before seeing the woman and the man fall more than 12 stories one after another at about 6 p.m..

Police have sealed off the scene and are investigating.
