Japanese PM Aso leaves for China visit

Updated: 2009-04-29 11:02 TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso left on Wednesday for a two-day visit to China which is aimed at improving mutual trust between the two countries.
He will exchange views with Chinese leaders on topics such as environment, energy, personnel exchanges, wireless communication, the ongoing international financial crisis, and regional security.
"The visit is highly meaningful to improve high-level dialogues, strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between China and Japan," said Kazuo Kodama, Press Secretary of the Japanese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday. |
