Vendor tries to resell wife he bought from traffickers

A man who married a woman he bought from human traffickers tried to resell her after he faced some financial problems.

Song, 39, a vegetable vendor in Yuhuan county, Zhejiang province, paid 4,000 yuan to a human trafficker last year for the migrant bride, 22, from Guizhou province.

He later realized the girl had some mental problems. Though reluctant to give up the girl, he tried to sell her to a man surnamed Zhang from Anhui province for 3,000 yuan.

They were caught red handed by police as they made the deal.
