Retiree shows off amphibious bicycle

An amphibious bicycle is getting some attention when it was unveiled in Neishahu park in Wuchang, Hubei province, on Sunday.

The bike, which was built by retiree Li Weiguo, floats on four water bottles. The bottles are raised when it touches land.

Li said he spent more than 20,000 yuan to research and refit the bike before he successfully got it to work.

Li is now trying to find a manufacturer to produce the first amphibious bike on the Chinese mainland.
