Music men excited about Expo

Updated: 2009-06-04 10:46 Six Asian music producers voiced their excitement about China's hosting of the 2010 World Expo and their enthusiasm for the event during a visit to the Expo site on February 5, 2009.
Forecasting that Expo 2010 would be a "grand party," the famous Taiwanese music producer Yuan Weiren said he felt the Expo had improved the image of a city in terms of traffic and people's behavior. He believed people would touch upon the future via the Expo as it would fuel people's imagination. He said Expo tunes should be encouraging and joyful. Others said Expo songs should embody the spirit which the host country advocates. All of them voiced a strong feeling of honor as hosts of the event and a willingness to contribute. |
