China fiscal revenue tops 6.13 trln yuan in '08

BEIJING: Chinese Finance Minister Xie Xuren said on Wednesday that the government's fiscal revenue reached about 6.13 trillion yuan ($0.9 trillion) last year, one trillion yuan more than 2007.

Xie revealed the figure in a report on the country's last year's fiscal situation to the ninth session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.
