Official: Flu patient didn't die from H1N1

Updated: 2009-07-02 14:40 A woman who was admitted to a Hangzhou hospital with the flu did not die from the H1N1 influenza, the China News Service said Thursday, quoting a local health official.
"The patient did not die from A(H1N1)," said Zhao Feng, a senior official with the province’s health bureau. "The reason is still under investigation," Zhao added. The health bureau said it will released further information about the patient's death later on Thursday, the China News Service reported. The woman was admitted to the hospital on June 23 and was diagnosed with A(H1N1) flu. She was recovering and her temperature was normal for a week, Xinhua reported. First H1N1 mass infection in Beijing Beijing reported its first mass infection of the H1N1 flu at a primary school Wednesday.
