HK's first serious H1N1 patient loses consciousness

Updated: 2009-07-09 11:52 Hong Kong's first "serious" A(H1N1) patient, who was confirmed carrying the pandemic Wednesday, lost consciousness today, a local newspaper reported.
The patient, who was suffering from a chronic pulmonary disease, was detected to contract the virus when he went to the Hospital of Wales on July 5, a spokesperson for the Department of Health of Hong Kong said. Hong Kong has so far confirmed 1055 cases of the flu, according to Xinhua. |
