Boy, 19, stuck in well for five days rescued

Firefighters rescued a 19-year-old boy stuck in an abandoned well for five days in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, recently.

The boy accidentally dropped a picture scroll, a friend's gift to him, in the empty well and climbed down to retrieve it. He couldn't find a way back up.

Five days of shouting for help bore some fruit finally when a trackman heard the boy's screams and called for help.
