Two killed in quarrel over 'loud humming' on train

Updated: 2009-08-02 20:39 CHENGDU: A man stabbed two people to death and injured another on a train on Saturday after a quarrel over "loud humming," said a railway official in southwest China's Sichuan Province Sunday. The suspect, whose surname was given as Yan, quarreled with three other passengers who said his humming along to his CD player was "too loud and disruptive," on the train from the southwestern Kunming City to Chengdu, Sichuan's capital, said an unnamed official at Chengdu Railway Station.
Yan was held by the train police on the train. Luo died aboard the train and Ren died later in hospital. Wu was hospitalized and was out of danger. |
