Three foreigners killed in NW China deadly car crash

Updated: 2009-08-03 10:45 XINING: Six people were confirmed dead, including three foreigners, after a bus-car collision Sunday evening in northwestern China's Qinghai Province, police said on Monday. Another 21 people were injured in the accident, of whom four were seriously wounded. A Ford car en route to the provincial capital Xining ran into a bus at about 5:50 p.m. Sunday in Garang Town, Guide County of Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, leaving three people dead on the spot and three more dead later in hospital.
The 21 injured included no foreigners, the department said. All of the injured have been hospitalized, and the cause of the accident is being investigated. |
