(chinadaily.com.cn)
Updated: 2009-08-24 16:29 Almost half of the South Korean companies operating in China plan to expand their businesses here, according to a survey by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Xinhua net reported today.
About 6.1 percent of the respondents plan to downsize their Chinese operation while 41.17 percent plan to keep their current size. The survey shows that the growing Chinese market is the major factor attracting South Korean firms. China's cheap labor costs and the ailing business environment in South Korea is also driving them to invest here. About half of the respondents see China's business environment improving, according to the survey. |
