HK Chief Secretary for Administration to visit Beijing

HONG KONG: Hong Kong's Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang leaves for Beijing Friday afternoon to attend a string of events celebrating the National Day, according to local government website on Friday.

Tang will attend the Hong Kong Ballet's performance in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China Friday night. He will also visit an exhibition highlighting the country's progress during the past 60 years to be opened on September 19.

Tang will return to Hong Kong on September 20. In his absence, Secretary for Education Michael Suen will be acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
