Factory fire kills two, injures four in E China

HANGZHOU: A fire at a packaging plant in east China's Zhejiang Province killed two people and injured four others Sunday, local authorities said.

The fire broke out at about 5 p.m. at the privately-owned plant in Luqiao District of Taizhou City. It was put out 40 minutes later, a district government spokesman said.

All of the dead and injured are from central Henan Province, the spokesman said.

Local authorities of work safety, fire prevention and public security are investigating the cause of the accident, he said.
