Ancient human fossil found in Guangxi
By Huo Yan and Huang Feifei (chinadaily.com.cn)
Updated: 2009-10-28 14:22 A 110,000 year old incomplete human lower jaw bone was recently found in a cave in Mulan Moutain in the Jiangzhou district of Chongzuo city, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
He was referring to a scientific debate between proponents of the theory that man evolved out of Africa, and supporters of a different theory, that humans evolved from different parts of the world. That a human fossil this old was found in China may help show that the multiregional theory better explains how humans evolved. |
