Man chains arms, legs to attract buyers at crossing
(China Daily)
Updated: 2009-10-30 09:21 A 20-something man, his arms and legs chained, stood at a busy crossing in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, trying to sell the trademark of his still-unopened restaurant, last Sunday. The man, surnamed Rao, said he had bought a house on loan a year back and could hardly afford to pay the mortgage now. He said he had registered a restaurant, which never really saw the light of day, and wanted to sell the eatery's trademark. "The chains were just to attract attention," he said.
