Man will stand trial for selling son for 8,000 yuan

Police in Anyang county, Henan province, filed a charge sheet against a man arrested for selling his son for 8,000 yuan early this year.

When Lian's second wife became pregnant in January, he sold off his son from his first wife, whom he divorced in 2005, to a villager from another county.

Lian was arrested after his father filed a report about his missing grandson.
