Man faints after girlfriend gifts him snake

A man in Chongqing municipality fainted when his girlfriend gifted him a snake last Thursday.
"My girlfriend phoned me and said she had a surprise for me. I was pretty excited, but then she didn't know I am dead scared of snakes," the man, surnamed Chen, said.
Chen's girlfriend had to return the snake to the pet shop when Chen told her he could not accept her gift.
