HK's October visitor arrivals up 9 pct

Updated: 2009-11-27 23:56 HONG KONG: Hong Kong saw a 9 percent year- on-year rise in visitors in October to 2.762 million, the Hong Kong Tourism Board said Friday.
Mainland arrivals grew 22.8 percent in the month, especially during the extended National Day Golden Week holiday period. Emerging markets also recorded substantial growth, including India, Russia and the Middle East, said the board. |
