Two villagers arrested for killing, eating tiger

Police in Mengla county, Yunnan province, arrested two men who allegedly killed a tiger and ate its meat in February.
Kang Wannian and Gao Zuqiao, both residents of Choushui village, allegedly shot dead a tiger before cooking it and eating its meat.
One of the villagers informed the police the next day, but the suspects managed to flee.
