Six killed in north China car accident

HOHHOT: Six people were killed in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region after a car veered off the road Saturday morning, local authorities said.

The accident happened at about 1:10 am at a section of the No. 110 National Highway in Wuyuan County when the white PASSAT sedan went off the road bed and caught fire, according to loal police.

The six people in the car died at the scene.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
