Man gets death for killing greedy mistress

A court in Shenyang, Liaoning province, sentenced a man to death with a two-year reprieve for killing his live-in lover, who threatened to implicate him in a rape case, in May.
The married man had separated from his wife and had been living with his mistress for months.
"She (the deceased) would always ask me for money. But one day, I refused," the man said. "Then she told me she would go to the police and tell them that I raped her."
He stabbed her with a kitchen knife and surrendered to the police.
