Beijing: China's first national radio program anchored by an HIV carrier held its launching ceremony Saturday in Beijing, Xinhua reported.
The program, "Dialogue with life", is jointly organized by China National Radio and Marie Stopes International China, and sponsored by the United Nations Development Program and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.
It will be broadcast on the finance channel of China National Radio from 9 p.m. to 10.p.m on Saturday nights starting January 16, reaching 300 million listeners in 60 cities.
People also can listen to the program via the websites of China National Radio and Sohu.com. The program will invite experts to answer questions from listeners who call in.
The program, hosted by health experts and an HIV carrier, will provide and share health information and knowledge, and promote awareness of HIV/AIDS.
