Carbon monoxide poisoning claims seven

A carbon monoxide poisoning at a coal mine today killed seven people, and six others were hospitalized, www.chinanews.com.cn reported.

The coal mine is located on Naizi hill in Jiaohe, Jilin province, and has been shut down due to the accident. The owner of the mine reportedly was being questioned by police.

The cause of the accident was not known.
