Chinese aid to be delivered to Haiti Saturday noon

BEIJING: A chartered flight loaded with the first batch of China's humanitarian aid materials worth 13 million yuan ( $1.9 million) will depart for Haiti from Beijing Capital International Airport at 12:00 p.m., the Ministry of Commerce said on Saturday.
The 90-tonne emergency supplies include medicines, tents, food, emergency lights, clothing and water.
