Sweden's Expo Committee announced Thursday that the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf would attend some important activities during Expo 2010 in Shanghai of China which is scheduled to be open in May.
"The Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf will be present at Sweden's national day at Shanghai Expo on May 23 and also at a forum about systems for innovation on May 24 in Shanghai," said Annika Rembe, the Swedish Commissioner General in the presence of leaders from Expo Bureau and members of Sweden's Expo Committee.
"The King, crown princess ministers, and also large numbers of researchers and architect will come (to Shanghai Expo)," Annika told Xinhua. She said she was extremely impressive with what the work and Expo Bureau in Shanghai city is doing now for the preparations.
"I understand this is a huge challenge for Shanghai and Expo Bureau. If we have huge challenge for preparing our pavilion, the work which Expo Bureau has is such a huge task. We are impressive and we see the gradually development day by day," she said.
Annika also told Xinhua that it would be an exciting meeting between different countries, different cultures, and also between Sweden and China. "I think this meeting will create a dialogue. It 's only through dialogue collaboration we can find solutions that we are needed for frequency, which will create a sustainable cities, better city and better life," she added.

A total of 200 participating countries and international organizations, and 70 million visitors will join in Expo Shanghai from May 1 to October 31 this year.
