2 dead, 2 trapped at tunnel collapse in SW China

KUNMING - Two people were confirmed dead and two others still trapped after an uncompleted tunnel collapsed in southwest China's Yunnan province, local authorities said on Friday.
Two workers managed to escape, while four others were trapped after the tunnel collapsed at around 10:40 pm Thursday in Yi-Hui Autonomous County of Xundian, said a spokesman with the publicity department of the county.
The cave-in happened 178 meters from the mouth of the tunnel. At 12 am Friday, the bodies of two trapped workers were recovered. It is still unkonwn whether the other two workers are still alive.
