Earlier in March, the police in Quanzhou's Anxi County received a report saying that a group of people were selling children in the county.

On March 9, police caught three traffickers while they were driving a car in Anxi and seized another trafficker in a rented home soon after.

The traffickers said they had bought four children in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region since January and secretly transported and sold them in Anxi county, according to the police.

Efforts to find the abducted children are continuing.
