China mourns late Polish president

BEIJING - Chen Zhili, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, mourned for the late Polish President Lech Kaczynski here on Monday.
Chen, on behalf of Chinese government, conveyed her deepest condolences at the Polish Embassy in Beijing for the death of the president.
Chen was accompanied by China's Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying.
Kaczynski was killed when a plane he was traveling on crashed near Smolensk in western Russia on Saturday.
