Chinese envoy visits DPRK: FM

BEIJING -- Wu Dawei, China's special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs, visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from August16-18, Chinese Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
Wu exchanged views with the DPRK side on maintaining peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and on restarting the six-party talks, a press release from the ministry said.
