EU-China social security meeting kicked off

With the theme of "Social Security Strategy into Implementation", the three-day meeting is set to discuss respective experience of European Union and China in the fields such as how to address an aging society and improve social security system.
About 150 officials and experts from European Commission, China, and EU member countries attended the meeting.
The meeting was initiated in 2006 and is a part of the EU-China Social Security Reform Cooperation Project.
The project aims to help China to perfect its social security system through EU's policy development and capacity building assistance.
