Police in the Weiyang district of Xi'an, Shaanxi province, cracked down on an illegal factory that made health products using chicken feed and veterinary medicine.
On Aug 8, police went to the factory after conducting a two-month investigation and detained six people suspected of running the factory.
In the past six months, nearly 2,400 boxes of fake health products, valued at more than 5 million yuan ($779,000) were made there.
In the factory, police found that the suspects produced eight kinds of health products using both chicken feed and veterinary medicine.
