NANNING - Police in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region have nabbed 34 Vietnamese illegal immigrants, local authorities said Wednesday.
Fangchenggang city police boarded an overloaded bus while it was illegally parked on an express way to collect passengers around 9:40 pm on Tuesday. Thirty-four of the 54 passengers on the bus were found to be Vietnamese who had entered China illegally.
Local police said the illegal immigrants will be sent back to Vietnam and charges will be laid against the bus driver for illegal parking and overloading.
