BEIJING - Nissan will recall 1,797 vehicles in China starting from March 15, China's consumer quality watchdog said Friday.
Infiniti QX56-model vehicles produced between August 19, 2009 and December 23, 2011 are being recalled because of a possible defect in the vehicles' fuel rail pressure sensors, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement on its website.
The defect could cause fuel leaks and lead to potential safety risks, the statement said.
The statement did not mention if any accidents or injuries have been reported in relation to the defect.
