7 dead in central China's road accident

ZHENGZHOU - Seven people were dead and another 19 injured in a road accident Sunday morning in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province, local police said.

The accident happened at about 9:45 am in the city when a truck collided with a passenger bus, killing two people instantly.

The injured have been sent to a local hospital, police said.

Qu Hongwei, driver of the passenger bus, died in the accident. The driver of the truck, Meng Kai, is being questioned by police.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
