BEIJING - The following is the biographical sketch of Wang Huning:
Wang Huning, born in October 1955, is a male ethnic Han from Laizhou, Shandong Province. He entered the workforce in February 1977 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1984. He studied international politics at the Department of International Politics at Fudan University and was awarded the degree of Master of Laws. He is a professor.
He is currently a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee.
