Chinese American forensic scientist Henry Chang-Yu Lee has accepted a consultancy at the procuratorate technology information research center under the Supreme People's Procuratorate, jcrb.com, the news website for Procuratorial Daily, reported on Thursday.
Lee, who worked on famous forensic-based cases such as the JonBenét Ramsey murder and the Helle Crafts woodchipper murder, was quoted as saying in an email to the center: "Thank you for inviting me to serve as a consultant for the procuratorate technology information research center. I am happy to inform you that I will be able to participate."
An official at the center said it was delighted to have Lee join them and it welcomes more leading experts to join the center's forensic expert council.
