A university graduate in Hubei province rejected a job offer with a 6,000 yuan ($980) monthly income to earn more than 10,000 yuan a month by selling eggs online, Wuhan Evening News reported on Sunday.
Li Xuan, 23, graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University in the provincial capital Wuhan this year and started his own business selling eggs online.
"I like to micro blog and wanted to make my own career online after seeing someone successfully selling fruit and food online," Li said.
Li searched for egg suppliers in the villages around the city and started his business in July.
He received orders online and then drove to deliver the eggs to customers.
Li's income is now in excess of 10,000 yuan per month, and had he paid back money he borrowed from his parents to buy his car.
