Large Medium SmallA search was launched after a 5-year-old boy fell into a sewer on Sunday in Liuyang, Hunan province, China News Service reported.
The accident occurred at about 8:40 am at Liuyang Industrial Park where work on a sidewalk had been nearly completed but workers had not closed up a section of the sewer.
The city government immediately organized police, firefighters and workers to search for the boy.
