A boy who questioned police in his micro blog was forced to leave school on Monday morning, the Beijing News reported on Monday.
Yang Hui, 16, a junior high school student in Tianshui, Gansu province, was detained by police on Sept 17 for questioning police concerning a murder case online. Yang was released seven days later.
On Nov 11, Yang posted a message online saying that he was beaten by police on Sept 17 after he was detained.
On Nov 18, the boy's father sent his son to school and was told by a school leader that his son was ordered to leave school as the school could not bear pressure from the governmental departments concerned and public opinion.
The Gansu provincial education administration said on Monday that it was aware of the case and asked the Tianshui education authority to investigate.
