The death toll from a storehouse fire in Beijing rose to 12 after a body was found early on Wednesday, according to Beijing police.
The fire in a storehouse in Xiaowuji village of Chaoyang district was reported to the police at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday.
Flames had engulfed an area covering more than 500 square meters, Beijing Public Security Bureau said in its micro blog.
Firefighters managed to rescue 14 people from the inferno and four people suffered injuries, the police said.
The fire was put out at around 11 pm on Tuesday.
Two owners of the storehouse have been held by police and an investigation is under way.
