TAIYUAN - At least two people were killed and another injured after a landslide at an open pit coal mine in North China's Shanxi province on Wednesday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at around 7 am in Jiaokou county of Luliang city, according to the county government.
Several excavators have been buried underneath earth, said the government.
The number of people buried is not known. Rescue work is under way.
