Xi'an Jiaotong University started its enrollment plan for 2014 by focusing on talent, China Daily learned on Tuesday.
The school plans to enroll 130 to students under the age of 15 (born after Jan 1, 1999) across the country and those who want to take enrollment exams should sign up before Dec 15 on the website of the university.
The enrollment exams will be held in Dalian, Qingdao, Suzhou, Wuhan and Xi'an. The preliminary exam will cover Chinese, mathematics, English, and science (including physics and chemistry).
Students who pass the first test will sit the second exam on March 1 in the university. They will be tested on mathematics, physics. They will also have a physical and psychological test and interview.
In 2013, 2,045 students signed up and 130 enrolled. The admission ratio was 1:5.
