New, trial version of ticket booking goes online

The trial run of a new version of the website of China Railway Customer Service Center, which provides online ticket booking service, will begin on Dec 6.

China Railway Corp said the website, 12306.cn, will offer more functions, such as automatically refreshing.

Both the old and new versions of the site will be online during the trial run.

Users can find the link to the new version at the left side of the home page of 12306.cn.

The China Railway Customer Service Center called for suggestions from passengers for the trial run of the new version.

The online ticketing website was launched in June 2011.
