CHENGDU - A former official of a city in Sichuan Province has been transferred to local judicial organs accused of serious disciplinary violations and alleged crimes, authorities said on Sunday.
Pu Zhong, former vice mayor of Ya'an City and former member of the standing committee of the city's Communist Party of China (CPC) committee, is accused of serious violations of discipline, and suspected of committing crimes, said the provincial CPC discipline inspection commission.
Pu had been vice mayor of Ya'an since February 2010. He was placed under investigation in December 2013.
